Lincoln County Recycling Celebrates Earth Day with Open House

Lincoln County celebrated Earth Day 2026 with a behind-the-scenes look at how recycling and composting work in Lincoln County.

LCRPC partnered with Lincoln County Recycling to open the facility to the public on April 22nd for tours, sharing information about local recycling and composting programs, and taking part in a hands-on activity of planting a native plant using locally produced compost.

This free family-friendly event offered a unique opportunity to better understand local waste management and support sustainable practices in the community.
