Lincoln County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Floodplain Manager at the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission (LCRPC), a department of County government. 

This full-time (40 hours per week) position provides floodplain management strategy, planning guidance, public engagement and facilitation knowhow, ordinance analysis and writing, and Geographic Information System (GIS) applications to Lincoln County and its municipalities. This includes providing technical assistance, research, and communication on topics including FEMA's Community Rating System, flood insurance requirements, grant writing and management, and community development to various stakeholders. 

Please note: This position is secured through contract funds that are anticipated to be long-term. Position continuation depends upon the availability of these funds.
